Tom Lee Says Bitcoin Can Still Reach $150K\u2013$200K by Year\u2019s End, Despite October\u2019s \u201cMini Tsunami\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Fundstrat\u2019s Tom Lee remains confident that Bitcoin could still finish 2025 with a massive rally \u2014 despite the turbulence that has rocked crypto markets since mid-October.<\/p>\n

Speaking on CNBC, the Fundstrat Global Advisors head of research said<\/a> he believes Bitcoin can reach between $150,000 and $200,000 by the end of the year, even after what he described as one of the largest liquidation events in crypto history.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I look at everything since October 10th \u2014 because that was the biggest liquidation in the history of crypto, bigger than FTX, a margin call tsunami \u2014 we\u2019re only a couple weeks from that,\u201d Lee said.<\/p>\n

For context, on October 10, President Trump announced<\/a> sweeping 100% tariffs on Chinese goods and new export controls in response to China\u2019s aggressive rare-earth restrictions. His remarks triggered a sharp sell-off across global markets and crypto assets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bitcoin plunged from around $117,000 to below $108,000 before rebounding to the $113,000 range amid extreme volatility. Since then, Bitcoin and the broader crypto market has bled to lows<\/a> of $104,000 before settling<\/a> at $107,000 currently.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the market is consolidating. But if I look at fundamentals, like Ethereum and stablecoin volumes exploding and application revenues at all-time highs, right now fundamentals are leading the price in crypto,\u201d Lee said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lee said the recent weakness may just be a pause before another rally, with solid fundamentals quietly setting up a year-end surge.<\/p>\n

\u201cEventually we consolidate and then we rally into year end \u2014 $150,000 to $200,000 for Bitcoin, and something like $7,000 for Ethereum,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

A broad bullish outlook outside of Bitcoin\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Lee\u2019s optimism isn\u2019t limited to Bitcoin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the same interview, he argued that U.S. equities remain in a strong position despite ongoing worries about China, the Federal Reserve, and a potential government shutdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe market\u2019s been up six months in a row now. Only six times since 1928 that\u2019s happened,\u201d Lee noted. \u201cSo if you look at November, it should be really strong. I think at least 200 points on the S&P \u2014 maybe even 250.\u201d<\/p>\n

He pointed to negative investor sentiment and underperforming fund managers as contrarian indicators for further upside.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to Lee, more than 80% of fund managers are lagging their benchmarks this year \u2014 creating potential for a \u201cperformance chase\u201d as the year closes.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvestors feel like it\u2019s a bear market, but we\u2019re up 17%. That kind of tells me there\u2019s a big performance chase into the year-end,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cStrong years end strong\u201d<\/h2>\n

Asked if he could still see Bitcoin surging above $150,000 given the recent weakness, Lee didn\u2019t hesitate.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I think we can still get to $150,000\u2013$200,000 for Bitcoin,\u201d he said confidently, adding that Ethereum could follow toward $7,000.<\/p>\n

For Lee, the setup into year-end mirrors what he\u2019s seeing across broader risk assets: a market that\u2019s been climbing a \u201cwall of worry,\u201d ready for another breakout once consolidation ends.<\/p>\n

\u201cStrong years end strong,\u201d he reminded viewers.<\/p>\n
