Australian digital asset manager DigitalX has raised A$20.7 million (US$13.5 million) in a fresh round of strategic funding, deepening its commitment to a \u201cBitcoin-first\u201d approach.<\/p>\n
The ASX-listed firm plans to use the funds to grow its Bitcoin treasury, with backing from heavyweight crypto investors like Animoca Brands, UTXO Management, and ParaFi Capital.<\/p>\n
DigitalX says it plans to allocate about AU$19.7 million (US$12.8 million) from its recent raise toward boosting its Bitcoin holdings, with the rest going toward offer expenses and general operations.<\/p>\n
In addition to the capital raise, DigitalX has bolstered its strategic advisory board with the appointments of Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, and Herv\u00e9 Larren, CEO of Airvey.io.<\/p>\n
