In an interview at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference<\/a> today, Rumble Founder and CEO Chris Pavlovski<\/a> sat down with Don Trump Jr<\/a>. to talk free speech, Bitcoin<\/a>, and a seismic shift in the financial system\u2014fueled by the current administration\u2019s pro-crypto stance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t an early adopter like so many people in the room who were here in 2012,\u201d Trump Jr. admitted. \u201cWe were real estate guys. Finance was always easy for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump Jr. revealed that TMTG and Truth Social are forming a Bitcoin treasury to the tune of $2.5 billion\u2014a move he called \u201ca pretty big deal.\u201d The announcement comes alongside new partnerships, including one with mining giant Hut 8, and the launch of a new group focused on building American Bitcoin reserves<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re seriously on crypto\u2014we\u2019re seriously on Bitcoin,\u201d Trump Jr. emphasized. \u201cWe\u2019re in three major deals. I believe we\u2019re at the beginning of what will be the future of finance. And the opportunity is massive.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chris Pavlovski agreed: \u201cWe weren\u2019t a Bitcoin company to start off with\u2014we were a free speech company. But I almost think we\u2019re at that \u2018all of a sudden\u2019 moment. The floodgates are opening.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair drew comparisons between Bitcoin and Rumble, describing both as targets of relentless media and regulatory pressure. \u201cBitcoin has had things thrown at it\u2014laws, attacks,\u201d said Pavlovski. \u201cSame with Rumble. But we\u2019re in an environment now where the administration is extremely pro-crypto and pro-Bitcoin.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe latest adopters are going to fare the worst,\u201d Trump Jr. warned. \u201cIt\u2019s the future of finance. I\u2019m so excited to see the administration stepping up.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rumble\u2019s Bitcoin strategy, including its move to build reserves<\/a>, was directly inspired by this shift. \u201cIt gave me all kinds of confidence that the administration would do all the right things,\u201d Pavlovski said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump gets this stuff. He gets it quick,\u201d Trump Jr. closed. \u201cWe\u2019re going to the moon, guys. Stay in. Stay strong.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
